Full-Time conference attendees who complete all required evaluation and attendance
documentation are eligible to receive the maximum number of contact hours. Daily registrants can receive credit for each day in attendance. No partial credit will be awarded. NBCC approval is limited to the sponsoring organization and does not necessarily imply endorsement of individual offerings. It is the responsibility of the provider to abide by NBCC guidelines.

Note:  If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed above, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board directly to determine eligibility of this training to meet your CEU requirement.


Program objectives

1. To identify the impact of childhood trauma on adult development.
2. To apply current clinical techniques for treatment and recovery for adult survivors of trauma/addicted families.
3. To demonstrate experiential techniques for assessing and treating unresolved adult issues due to childhood trauma.
4. To analyze neuroscience findings as they relate to treatment and recovery for adult children of trauma/addicted families
5. To discuss resolution of associated problems due to familial addiction such as relationship problems, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety and addiction in adult children of trauma/family addiction.
6. To discuss the necessary interventions for addicted families in order to become families that flourish.

A maximum of 18 Contact Hours are available for the ACOA Conference in Orlando, Florida.
